Hallmarking

Under the 1973 UK Hallmarking Act, all dealer's supplying precious metal jewellery must display a Dealer's Notice explaining the approved hallmarks.  Any precious metal jewellery that weighs over 7.78 grams must be hallmarked at one of the UK’s assay offices.

Alléro Jewellery is registered at the London Assay Office. Any of my pieces that weigh over 7.78g are sent off to The London Assay Office to be hallmarked. My sponsors mark is 'AJ'.
