My Story

Predominantly self taught,

silversmithing & jewellery design came to me relatively late in the game, but looking back it was always coming.

I grew up in Devon where my childhood was spent mostly outdoors - building dens, designing my own 'perfume room' in the woods, making sleds out of my Dads cardboard samples from his work (😉) and flying down the hill & endless homemade mud pies. Making things wasn't a hobby. It was just how I existed.  Indoors I loved to draw & decorated my whole bedroom with hand painted cartoon characters.

As I grew up I progressed from my bedroom wall to canvasses, creating drawings and paintings for friends and family as gifts.

My life took a different turn as I got older -- work, paying bills, having a 'steady income' always got in the way of what I was passionate about and put on the back burner. 

Fast forward to 2020.  Lockdown.  Everything slowed down.  A friend sent me a pair of earrings I'd been longing for but couldn't buy because of lockdown and when they arrived, I didn't just love them — I wanted to know how they were made. That curiosity changed everything. I rediscovered a passion for art in the form of silversmithing and jewellery design.  I fell in love with silversmithing instantly — the techniques, the process, the grit under the nails. My parents bought me a silversmithing starter pack and I haven't looked back since!

The Name Behind the Brand...

Alléro was a name that came easily to me once I stopped searching for all the usual generic names.  I wanted something that was personal, special & completely unique. Alexa. Leo. Ro. I melded their names together and there it was. Alléro. 💙

Alléro was born...

Individually handcrafted using a range of silversmithing techniques, each design is brought to life and turned into something truly unique. It gives me an enormous sense of pride and happiness to be able to share my passion with you.
